Are they really worth the $238 price tag?

Who hasn’t seen or heard about the Rag & Bone sweatpant jeans at this point? I feel like they’ve been everywhere. Since my life lately has involved a lot of comfortable clothing (kids classes involve sitting down and standing up a lot), I was really intrigued by the idea. It looks like jeans but is actually a sweatpant? I’m in.

The only thing that really stopped me was the outrageous price tag. The pants in this line from Rag & Bone range in price from $155 (the sweatpant joggers) to $238 (the wide leg sweatpants). For a pair of sweatpants?!? Are they cashmere with gold threaded in? (In case you were curious, no, there are no gold threads in there). But I had a leftover gift card from Nordstrom so I figured why not use it to try out the jeans?
